SUMMARY:Club Ride - Scenic Winter Sunday: Ride & BBQ to Felker Lake
DESCRIPTION:Join the crew on Sunday\, February 1st for a nice\, social cruise through the Cariboo winter landscape.\n\n\nWE’RE HEADING FROM THE GRST BUTLER RD TRAILHEAD OUT TO FELKER LAKE FOR A HOT BBQ SMOKIE LUNCH AND SOME GOOD CONVERSATION.\n\n\n\n\nWhen: Meet at the Butler Rd parking lot. Please be staged and ready to roll for 10:00 AM.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Pace: We’ll try keeping a nice\, probably slower pace for everyone to enjoy.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTrail Conditions: Expect icey and snowy tracks. As the day warms up and the snow softens\, the ride might get a little “loose” and active—be prepared for a bit of a workout on the handlebars!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStay Comfortable: Even on a milder day\, winter riding isn’t always the most “plush” experience. We recommend layering to stay warm.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFuel Check: Please arrive with a full tank of fuel.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLunch is on Us: We’ll provide the smokies and condiments at the lake! Bring your own drinks.\n\n\n\n\nRSVP by Friday (30 Jan 2026) at noon: We need an accurate headcount to ensure there are plenty of smokies for everyone.

SUMMARY:Club Ride - GRST NORTH - THE BLUFF RIDE
DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY\, NOVEMBER 2ND: ADVENTURE NORTH OF LAC LA HACHE! \nGet ready for our next autumn exploration on the Gold Rush Snowmobile Trail (GRST). Thanks to the extra hour of sleep from Daylight Saving Time ending\, we’ll be starting our ride rested and ready to go! \nThe Details\n\nDate: Sunday\, November 2nd\nStart Time: 9:30 AM Standard time\, boots up and ready to ride\nStarting Point: Butler Road GRST Trailhead at the north end of Lac la Hache.\nThe Route: We will be heading north toward the Spout Lake area\, with the destination being a spectacular Bluff overlooking 2 Mile Lake for our lunch stop. The ride is an out-and-back journey\, returning along the same route to the starting trailhead.\n\nThe Challenge & Reward\nThis section of the GRST is a little less refined than the trail we rode last Sunday\, promising a more authentic off-road experience. \n\nTerrain: Expect a challenging and fun ride with a dynamic mix of terrain.\nGearing Up: We anticipate needing to use four-wheel drive on a hill or two! Be ready to engage it and test your machine’s capabilities.\nThe View: The reward is the fantastic Bluff overlooking 2 Mile Lake\, which will be the perfect spot to stop and enjoy our lunch with a stunning autumn view.\n\nEssential Prep\nThe late-fall temperatures are definitely here\, so preparation is key for comfort and safety: \n\nFuel: Full tank of fuel is mandatory—there are no gas stops on this route.\nLunch: Bring a packed lunch and\, importantly\, something warm (hot beverage or food) to fight the chill.\nClothing: Dress for the weather! Layers\, insulated boots\, and waterproof outer gear are highly recommended\, as there is always a chance of rain or snow at this time of year.\n\nLet’s enjoy the more rugged side of the GRST! See you all at the Butler Road Trailhead!

SUMMARY:Club Ride - Autumn Adventure on the GRST!
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for an epic day of riding that will showcase the spectacular beauty of a late-October day on the Gold Rush Snowmobile Trail (GRST). We’re hitting the trail at 9:30 AM\, so arrive early at the Beaverdam Lake Rec Site ready to roll with a full tank of fuel and a packed lunch. \nThe Ride: Meadows\, Lakes\, and Gorges\nThis isn’t just a ride—it’s a journey through a changing landscape: \n\nScenic Start: We’ll immediately dive into the glorious wide-open spaces\, sweeping across golden meadows and riding alongside the shimmering waters of Little White Lake. The crisp autumn air and stunning views will be the perfect way to start the day.\nForest Thrills: From there\, the trail leads us into the heart of the forests and cut blocks\, offering a dynamic mix of terrain that keeps the ride engaging.\nThe Gorge Crossing: Prepare for the highlight! We’ll pass along the edge of a dramatic gorge—a very cool sight—before we get to power through it ourselves at the exhilarating powerline crossing!\nThe Homestretch: The final leg is a pure joy—a nicely undulating\, flowy trail that rolls and winds its way all the way down to the Clinton Trailhead\, where we’ll stop to enjoy our packed lunch.\n\nThe Beauty of a Cool Day\nMother Nature might just be providing the perfect conditions! It will be cool\, so dress warmly in layers. If we’re lucky enough to have a touch of early snow on the ground\, it will be a dream—it settles the dust\, provides a beautiful backdrop\, and simply smooths out the trail for a truly effortless ride. \nLet’s make some memories\, kick up some dirt (or a little snow!)\, and enjoy the incredible beauty of the GRST! \nReady to explore the GRST with us this Sunday? \nAlways one of my favourite rides. About 100 KMs and 6hrs.
