DESCRIPTION:After a great campout at Crooked Lake last year\, we’re doing it again! \nWe’ll be camping the weekend of October 3-5. Plan to arrive on the morning of the 3rd to get settled and start riding in the afternoon. \nWe’ll be staying at Crooked Lake Resort\, which has ample camping and a limited number of cabins. You can find more details and photos on their website: https://www.crookedlakeresorthorseflybc.com/ \n\nGetting There\nThe resort is about 1.5 hours east of 100 Mile House on the Canim Lakes Rd past Forest Grove. It’s also accessible from Horsefly\, and that road may be in better condition. \n\nActivities\nThe plan is to spend the weekend riding the beautiful trails and enjoying the scenery. On Saturday\, October 4\, we’ll have a potluck turkey dinner. The first part of the journey is mostly on forestry service roads (FSRs)\, but the last 15 km will be slow going\, with some 4×4 use required. \nReaching the top will be well worth the effort\, as Big Timothy Mountain is the tallest in our area and offers an excellent view. \nHope to see you there for a great ride! \nRegards\, Mark

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, 02 August – Ride from Fawn Lake area to Judson Road via Interlakes region.\n\n\nBe ready to ride @ 9:30am from north end of Fricke Road. (Google maps link to this location can be found on this ride’s post on our Club’s Facebook site) \nThe plan is to start the ride at that spot\, ride on a restored trail to Judson road and back. Lunch will be back at Fawn Lake where Heather and I will host the riders. We will have the BBQ and maybe a camp fire hot and ready to roast/cook whatever you bring for your lunch.\n\n\nAfter lunch\, the ride will continue with a short loop around Fawn Lake (approximately 1 hour).  Note: You will be close to you vehicles at lunch so if you want to cut the day short it is easily done.\n\n\nBring a full tank of fuel and your smiles. The trail has a few challenging sections\, but should be lots of fun.

Depending on time and how riders feel\, we may take some offshoot roads or choose to arrive at Barkerville and spend a few hours there before riding to Wells for the evening.\n\n\n\n\n\nOn the way back\, we will take F Road and do the Ghost Lake loop including a detour to Ghost River Falls. Lat lunch in Likely and may enjoy some GRST depending on time.\n\n\n\n\n\nApparently the Anvil Pub is now open again so after the ride\, dinner is an option.\n\n\n\n\n\nBring extra fuel and extra clothing\, (including rain gear) as we will be riding a lot of Forest Service Roads and will be going over a higher pass where things cool off a bit. However\, Could be warm as the summer solstice is 3 day after we get back.\n\n\n\n\n\nGonna be an epic ride!

DESCRIPTION:We are hosting the Wells ATV and PGATV Clubs. Come for the campout\, come for the rides\, come for the friendship building\, and come for the fun! Should be a great weekend. \n\nWe have been watching the road conditions down to Camp Canama and due to the recent rains in our area\, we are sad to report the road is soft and slippery. We are concerned that people may have issues navigating the last hill and we don’t want anyone to have issues that would ruin everyone’s weekend.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis location is the GRST trailhead which has ample parking for all campers and we are allowed to use the clubhouse with proper washrooms.\n\n\n\n\n\nTo access this area\, head south out of 100 Mile House approximately 2 Kms to Ainsworth Road just past the Highway 97 CN Railway crossing bridge and turn right (west) onto Ainsworth Rd. Drive up approximately 3 Kms to the end of the road and parking lot. We will be there to direct you to camping locations. \n\n\n\n\n\nFor those who are hoteling\, there are several motels in 100 Mile House. You may leave your trailers and ORVs at the clubhouse if you choose.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are sad to make this change as Camp Canama is a beautiful setting\, but Safety comes first.\n\n\n\n\n\nLooking forward to seeing you over this weekend and leading you astray!\n\n\n\n\n\nThere is cell phone service at the camp.\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease let us know (if you haven’t already) which days you are riding and if you are staying for the Saturday evening BBQ. DESCRIPTION:MORE Exercise\, sunshine and camaraderie. TRAIL HEAD PARKING LOT CLEANUP AND ATV RIDE on TUESDAY 13 MAY\, 10am.\n\n\nStarting at 10AM\, we will be cleaning up/removing garbage at the Exeter Rd gravel pit (1100Rd 3km past Garbage dump)\, where we have often started ATV rides from.\n\n\nNo organic garbage that I recall seeing\, but there is lots of discarded plastics\, metal cans\, empty gun shells\, etc…\n\n\nGarbage bags will be provided.\n\n\nBring gloves\, rakes\, shovels\, dust pans\, and anything that will help gather and bag the items.\n\n\nAlso bring your ATV/SXS because after the cleanup\, we will ride to Valentine Lake Rec site for lunch. Heather and I will provide the BBQ\, and you bring the rest. Should be fun.\n\n\nHope to see you there.

DESCRIPTION:Boots up and ready to ride 9am start. Bring beverages and treats for while on the trail.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis ride is about 140kms up the GRST\, estimating an 8hr all day ride. There are a few little gnarly areas that everyone has been able to pass. We will want to make up time on the forest service roads so expect 60km/hr sections. May run some FSRs on the way back depending on time. Probably be dusty.\n\n\n\n\n\nWill be crossing beautiful Moffat Falls.
