DESCRIPTION:Boots up and ready to ride 9am start. Bring beverages and treats for while on the trail.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis ride is about 140kms up the GRST\, estimating an 8hr all day ride. There are a few little gnarly areas that everyone has been able to pass. We will want to make up time on the forest service roads so expect 60km/hr sections. May run some FSRs on the way back depending on time. Probably be dusty.\n\n\n\n\n\nWill be crossing beautiful Moffat Falls. Friday\, October 11 to 14th.\n\n\nJohn and Roz have rode from Crooked Lake into the mountains around and says the rides are great and views from above the tree line are breath taking!\n\n\nCrooked Lake Resort has a few cabins available and we will be camping close by at the Recreation Site.\n\n\nApparently\, the road is much better from the Horsefly side\, rather than going out past Eagle Creek on the Canim/Hendrix Rd.\n\n\nWill be amazing with the leaves turning colours.\n\n\nJulie and I will be heading out Friday morning. The ride will be approximately four hours\, so please bring a lunch and plenty of gas. This is a fairly easy trail\, with the last kilometre being a little rough. Bring a lunch and as always\, full tank of fuel.\n\nFriends are always welcome. Everyone is now required to sign in on a check in/waiver sheet.
