DESCRIPTION:Destination: Ten-ee-ah Lodge\, Spout Lake.\n\n\nJoin us for a scenic Father’s Day ride to Ten-ee-ah Lodge for lunch!\n\n\n Meeting Location: Butler Road GRST Trailhead Parking Lot (north end of Lac La Hache on Highway 97)\n\n\n Time: 9:30 AM sharp – boots up and ready to ride\n\n\n\n\n\nThe ride will take us to beautiful Ten-ee-ah Lodge on Spout Lake\, where we’ll enjoy lunch before returning. The round trip is approximately 80 km\, and including lunch\, plan for about 6 hours.\n\n\n\n\n\nIf time and interest permit\, we may add a short side trip to The Bluff before heading back.\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease RSVP so we can provide the lodge staff with an accurate lunch count.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis should be a fantastic ride with great scenery\, great company\, and excellent food. SUMMARY:GRST TRAIL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
DESCRIPTION:Note: See our Club’s Facebook page or contact Mark Redl (108atvclub@gmail.com) for updates/specifics on daily timings and location.\nThe 108 ATV Club has received grant funding to improve a section of the Gold Rush Snowmobile Trail (GRST) connector between the 100 Mile Snowmobile Clubhouse parking lot trailhead and Valentine Lake Road.\n\n\nOur goal is to reduce or eliminate mud holes\, improve drainage\, and create a safer\, more enjoyable trail for all users.\n\n\nWe have some fantastic support from our partners:\n\n\n Sanders Ready Mix has generously agreed to provide access to gravel from their pit on Valentine Lake Road.\n\n\n Performance All Terrain Rentals has provided the use of a mini excavator\, which will be used to improve drainage around mud holes and assist with spreading gravel.\n\n\nNow we need volunteers to help make this project a success!\n\n\nWe are looking for:\n\n\nGravel trucks and drivers\nEquipment operators\nATV and SxS riders willing to pull our five tire pulls to help spread and level the gravel\nChainsaw operators to clear any obstacles as required\nGeneral volunteers willing to lend a hand\n\n\n Project Dates: June 22–27\, 2026\n\n\nMonday\, June 22 – Kickoff Day\n\n\nVolunteers are asked to meet at 8:30 AM on Valentine Lake Road\, at the junction where the Gold Rush Snowmobile Trail (GRST) meets Valentine Lake Road\, just before the entrance to the Sanders Ready Mix gravel pit.\n\n\nGPS coordinates and a map are attached. Click on link to map route to the starting location.\n\n\nPlease arrive a few minutes early so we can organize crews\, review safety procedures\, and coordinate equipment and trucking assignments before work begins.\n\n\nThe club will cover fuel costs for volunteer gravel trucks and ORVs used to pull the tire pulls through the grant funding.\n\n\nSafety Requirements\n\n\nAll volunteers are expected to bring and wear appropriate safety gear\, including:\n\n\nSteel-toed boots\nHigh-visibility safety vest\nWork gloves\nSafety glasses\nHelmet (where required)\nChainsaw safety equipment for those operating chainsaws\nPlease bring your own lunch\, snacks\, and drinking water each day.\n\n\nOur goal is to work smart\, work safely\, and have fun while improving an important section of trail that benefits ATV riders\, snowmobilers\, hikers\, hunters\, anglers\, and other outdoor recreation users.\n\n\nIf you have equipment\, skills\, or experience in road building\, road maintenance\, drainage improvements\, gravel placement\, or trail construction that you feel could assist with this project\, please contact me.
