After more than **three years of work and advocacy**, the District of 100 Mile House has officially adopted its new ORV (Off-road vehicle) Access Bylaw.

✅ Carry the **official route map** and stay on designated routes

⛔ **ORVs are NOT permitted in municipal parks**

✅ Wear required helmets and seatbelts

✅ Use required lights and safety equipment

✅ Obey all speed limits and traffic laws

✅ Keep right and **yield to all other vehicles and people**

✅ Ride responsibly and respectfully

Before riding *KNOW THE HOURS:** ORVs may only operate within the permitted hours of **7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily**, and **not between ½ hour after sunset and ½ hour before sunrise.**

Our thanks:

**A sincere thank you to the Mayor and Council of the District of 100 Mile House** for their support and vision in moving this bylaw forward and recognizing the recreational, tourism and economic benefits that responsible ORV access can bring to our community and local businesses.

We also thank District staff, the RCMP and everyone who contributed their time and effort throughout this process.

Benefits of ATVBC:

This bylaw is a great example of why **ATVBC advocacy matters.** ATVBC and the 108 ATV Club have worked hard to promote responsible ORV access, safety and education. Your membership helps support continued advocacy for the ORV community throughout British Columbia.

**Another benefit of membership:** ATVBC members can receive a **20% discount on eligible private liability insurance and additional insurance coverages — which, for some members, can more than cover the cost of their membership.**

Members may also qualify for **up to an additional 10% discount** by completing an accredited Canadian Quad Council ATV or SxS safety course.

It took more than **three years of collaboration, advocacy and community support** to achieve this access. **Now it is up to all of us to show 100 Mile House that Council made the right decision.**

Ride safe. Ride legal. Ride respectful. **Protect the privilege — and support the organizations working to protect your access.**
